Boatcatch uses a solid pin to “positive lock” your boat onto the trailer. We do not use hooks as they can unhook on ramps that are not smooth, or if your boat is moved around by waves whilst on the trailer. WE WANT YOU TO MOVE YOUR TRAILER UP AND DOWN THE RAMP USING ONLY THE BOATCATCH TO HOLD YOUR BOAT IN PLACE. Boatcatch can never come unlocked.

Small Boatcatch (Boats under 19ft)
It is suggested the small coupling is used on boat with an on water weight from 600lbs to 3300lbs maximum. These couplings may be fitted to vessels ranging from the smallest of aluminium boats and up to those just under 19 feet.
Large Boatcatch (Boats over 19ft up to 35 ft)
The large coupling is best used on boat with an on water weight ranging from 3300lbs to a 13230lbs maximum (couplings may be used on applications over this weight at the owners own discretion and risk, or talk to us and we can explain).
